Tool is a band formed in Los Angeles, California in 1990 by vocalist Maynard James Keenan, guitarist Adam Jones, bassist Paul d'Amour, and percussionist Danny Carey. Paul d'Amour left the band following Undertow and was replaced by Justin Chancellor.
