Against Me!

Against Me! is a folk punk band formed in Naples, Florida, later relocated to Gainesville, Florida. It was started as a solo, acoustic act by member Tom Gabel, occasionally using back up drummers or bassists. After a more complete band was put together, they put out their first full length album, Reinventing Axl Rose on No Idea Records. They then switched to Fat Wreck Chords to release As the Eternal Cowboy, and Searching For a Former Clarity. The band has recently signed with major label Sire, and is expected to release their major label debut early 2007.
