Thanks for all the contributions you've made so far, Noticed you've done a lot of positive (imho) changes ;).

You made an edit on the Enya:Enya (1987) Page I don't really understand? The category links don't function like other links, so don't need to be piped to display alternate text, well, at least, I don't think they do, unless I misunderstand and the piping actually functions differently when applied to category links. Can you explain?

--Nanenj 17:48, 29 December 2005 (PST)

Yup, using a pipe after a category means that the article will be categorized under that name. This is useful since we title the album pages with the artist name first. Take a look at Category:Albums, and you'll notice that I've sorted the albums by album name instead of artist. :) The reason that that edit was pointless is because it was a self-titled album. --MindlessXD 17:53, 29 December 2005 (PST)
Ah! Ok, makes much more sense now :). Thanks, I'll make note to do that in the future. --Nanenj 17:56, 29 December 2005 (PST)

Holy cow ;), I'm having trouble keeping up. (But, that's a good thing, I've -really- needed some users around to give me more incentive (and more to do). Lots more positive stuff, still looking for feedback on what you think about the album pages, as I said on that particular discussion, it's been something of a concern for me, but, redundant information might not be as big a fault as it seems. Thanks much! --Nanenj 00:44, 30 December 2005 (PST)

Really hard to reply to comments on edits ;). Anyways, point 1, about singles. I almost think they should be included on the discography for the sake of having that info complete. This is something I'm still kinda trying to guess about. However, make note that some of the more recent additions by both enjnan and myself are mostly generated by a script, there's bound to be some correction needed, as well as most needing additions, it's just a way to get some bulk data (that should be mostly) accurate on lyriki. enjnan is mostly following my instructions for her, so, don't fault her for mistakes, most of them that are made (if any) are likely more caused by the script I wrote to generate the wiki sections for her. Second one, as for last name first name, that's probably fine, and maybe even logical in some circles for sorting, however, it really makes more sense for it to be displayed in most places as it's displayed on the album. So, sort it however you please, but, the display name should still be as it appears normally. --Nanenj 19:23, 31 December 2005 (PST)

If they're included, I think they should be under a different heading, perhaps "== Singles ==". --MindlessXD 19:27, 31 December 2005 (PST)
Oh, I should have been more clear on the "last, first" comment. I meant the categorization. --MindlessXD 19:29, 31 December 2005 (PST)
Okies, then that's good on the last, first, we have the same intention there :) and The Singles thing will be taken into account and used for now :) --Nanenj 19:33, 31 December 2005 (PST)
I can't find the discussion about logos, but, is the logo you uploaded and have on your user page a submission for lyriki's logo? :) Or even if not, would you mind us using it as such? --Nanenj 13:51, 25 January 2006 (PST)
I was unsure whether I should submit it or not, but if you like it go ahead and use it. --MindlessXD 14:06, 25 January 2006 (PST)

WOW!! That was a pretty bang up job of getting those categories created. Looks good! Thanks. --Nash 11:31, 26 January 2006 (PST)

Mindless, Thanks for trying to help me understand, but now I'm really confused. The thing is is that when I just changed "The Beatles" category code it took them out of the "B" section and put them in the "T" section of the Artist TOC page. So is this code only good for artists with "The" in front of it. Maybe we should mention that on the Help page. Thanks. --Nash 20:40, 27 January 2006 (PST)

Yes, this should be addressed on the Help pages, but I haven't gotten around to it.
[[Category:Artists|Beatles, The]]
[[Category:Artists:B|Beatles, The]]
The information after the pipe determines how the page is categorized. Therefore artists, albums, and songs that begin with "A", "An", or "The" should be categorized in the standard book/library format (eg. The Beatles should be categorized under Beatles, The). --MindlessXD 20:47, 27 January 2006 (PST)

Hey man, don't I know you from somewhere? Were you on Kiwilyrics or something? Your name seems familiar...--Db0 08:54, 11 April 2006 (PDT)

Yup. :D I joined there not long before it died. --MindlessXD 14:57, 11 April 2006 (PDT)
Where did you find lyriki then? I only just found out while checking for new amaroK scripts. Unfortunately we've lost all the albums we had "kiwified" :( --Db0 15:02, 11 April 2006 (PDT)
I just googled for a lyrics wiki, and here I was... (what's left of KiwiLyrics) --MindlessXD 15:09, 11 April 2006 (PDT)
Strange, I googled as well but all I found were more crappy sites. Your Google-fu is powerful! :D Shame about the Kiwi, there's nothing retrievable left and the owner is uncooperative :( --Db0 23:36, 11 April 2006 (PDT)
