Hey man. I guess you must be a sock pupper for Nanenj (since your name is an anagram of his).
I just wanted to tell you that I don't agree with censorship and that this is the wrong way to go about it.
I believe lyricwiki is not as good as lyriki and I'm pretty sure that anyone checking it out will have the same opinion. However, arbitary removing linkss, especially when they are in the talkpage of a user, only excites curiosity and makes the admins look oppresive. I'm pretty sure I wasn't advertising since I linked to a discussion about why I think lyriki is better (which you censored as well). --Db0 10:13, 26 April 2006 (PDT)
Hehe, enjnan is my significant other. :) Girlfriend. We're both concerned about how it looks, but, considering the toes that have been stepped on and our previous decisions to disallow links to commercial sites, we feel that this doubly deserves the removal of links. I think she did edit a bit much on some before I caught her, my apologies if that's what your referring to. But, the actual links we've already established not linking to commercial lyrics sites. If you still disagree, feel free to put it back and I'll make note not to re-edit. --Nanenj 10:24, 26 April 2006 (PDT)
- Yes, I would like to restore the original discussion. I believe it is the correct choice and in any case, they're not in a very public place either. Thanks. --Db0 10:45, 26 April 2006 (PDT)
- Please do so then, I think I'm going to step aside on this and let the members handle it as I'm still a little annoyed. I think my being annoyed is clearly evident to enjnan as well, hence why we've done what we've done, despite it probably not being the right choice, but, democracy rules here :P so to speak, and I think my own judgement isn't the best in this issue, so, your choice :) --Nanenj 10:49, 26 April 2006 (PDT)
- You know, that's why I like dealing with reasonable people. Cheers! --Db0 10:55, 26 April 2006 (PDT)
I'm making the same note to every admin: please, ban user CV remover. It's sistematically (and unjustifiedly, I think) removing the content from a lot of pages. --Attendant 14:31, 17 August 2006 (PDT)
